अथर्ववेद सूक्त ५.१६: विष-निवारण सूक्त
हे व्याधि या विष! यदि तू 'एक' बल वाला है, तो तू ओषधि के प्रभाव से नीरस (शक्तिहीन) हो जा।
English Explanation:If you possess one-fold strength, may you be rendered essence-less and weak.
यदि तू 'दो' गुना शक्तिशाली है, तो भी तेरा विषैला प्रभाव समाप्त हो जाए।
English Explanation:If you have two-fold strength, let your toxic essence be neutralized.
यदि तू 'तीन' गुना बलवान है, तो भी तू निर्बल और निष्प्रभावी हो जा।

हे विष! यदि तू 'चार' गुना प्रबल है, तो ओषधि तुझे नीरस बना दे।
