 पदं देवस्य नमसा व्यन्त: श्रवस्यव: श्रव अमृक्तम् । 

नामानि चित् दधिरे यज्ञियानि भद्रायां ते रणनीति संदृष्टौ।।

                 भाग १

हे देव जो हमने तुम्हारे ही पद के 

प्राप्तव्य श्रेष्ठ दर्शन पाए हुए हैं (2) 

नमस्कार करते हुए स्तुति करते झुकते हुए 

भक्ति- भाव आत्मसमर्पण लाए हुए हैं (2) 

हे देव........ 

तुम्हारी ही भक्ति की महिमा निराली 

जिसके साथ यश की इच्छा तृप्ति पाली 

तुम्हारी कृपा का यश मृदित नहीं होता 

तव पद-दर्शन का यश लाए हुए हैं 

हे देव.......... 

नहीं चाहना है प्रभु बाहरी यशों की 

जो अक्षय तुम्हारे यश है, उन्हीं के रसों की 

प्रभु तेरी भक्ति ने उबार दिया है 

तेरी भक्ति का प्रताप पाए हुए हैं 

हे देव........

हे देव जो हमने तुम्हारे ही पद के प्राप्त विद्या श्रेष्ठ दर्शन पाए हुए हैं नमस्कार करते हुए स्तुति करते झुकते हुए भक्ति भाव आत्म समर्पण लाए हुए हैं

हे देव.......... 

यज्ञ में उच्चारित्र तेरे पुण्य नाम हैं 

पुण्य नाम का ही धारण यही तो प्रधान है 

वाणी से हृदय तक भक्ति भाव संजोये 

शुद्ध अंतःकरण में गुंजाए हुए हैं 

हे देव 

तुम्हारी कल्याणमयी दृष्टि यदि पा जाएं 

व्याधि, स्त्यान,विघ्न, बाधा ना कभी सताएं 

तेरे पवित्र नाम करना चाहें धारण 

पद दर्शन के संकल्प ले हुए हैं 

हे देव.............

पद=पैर, कदम

प्राप्तव्य= पाने योग्य

मृदित= कुचला हुआ, भींचा हुआ

अक्षय= विनाश ना होने वाला

उबारना= उद्धार करना

स्त्यान= सत्कर्म में चित्त का ना लगना

                          स्वाध्याय

हे देव हमने तुम्हारे पद के, तुम्हारे प्राप्तव्य स्वरूप के, तुम्हारे चरणों के दर्शन पाए हैं। तुम्हें बार-बार नमस्कार करते हुए, तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हुए, तुम्हारे आगे झुकते हुए,भक्ति भाव से आत्मसमर्पण करते हुए ही हमें तुम्हारे दुर्लभ पद के दर्शन मिले हैं। यह सब तुम्हारी भक्ति की महिमा है। इसके साथ ही मेरी पुरानी यश पानै की इच्छा भी तृप्त हो गई है। तुम्हारी कृपा से ऐसा यश मिला है जो की मृदित नहीं हो सकता। बाहर के मनुष्यों से मिलने वाला यश तो उनके अधीन होता है, वह मृदित होता रहता है। परन्तु तुम्हारे पद-दर्शन से जो अन्दर का यश मिला है, वह अक्षय है,उसे पाकर अब मुझे किसी बाह्य यश की आकांक्षा नहीं रही है। तेरे सेवकों को संसार में सज्जन पुरुषों द्वारा भी बहुत सा यश मिला करता है, पर वह भी तुझ द्वारा मिले इस अन्तर यश की ही छाया होती है। हे अग्निदेव ❗तेरी भक्ति ने मुझे उबार दिया है। तेरी भक्ति का तो इतना प्रताप है कि यदि कोई तेरे यज्ञ में उच्चारणीय पवित्र पुण्य नाम को ही केवल धारण करें उन्हें वाणी से बोलता हुआ भक्ति से हृदय में गुंजाता रहे ,तो इस नाम जपन, नाम धारण से ही उसका अंत:करण इतना शुद्ध हो जाएगा कि उस पर तुम्हारी कल्याणमयी दृष्टि हो जाएगी। तुम्हारी कल्याण में दृष्टि में रहता हुआ वह सुख से आगे बढ़ता जाएगा । उसके व्याधि ,स्त्यान आदि विघ्न हरण होते जाएंगे,वह निर्विघ्न सुख से उन्नत होता जाएगा। 

         तो क्या हे अग्ने❗ हम तेरे पवित्र नाम को भी धारण कर सकेंगे? यह तो कम-से-कम है जो हमें तुम्हारी तरफ पहुंचने के लिए करना चाहिए। हमें तो तुम्हारे प्रेम के मार्ग में अन्त तक जाना है और एक दिन यह कह सकने योग्य होना है कि " हमने तेरे पद के दर्शन का लिए हैं और अनश्वर यज्ञ के भागी हो गए हैं। "

Pad = feet, step

Praptavya = worth getting

Mridit = crushed, compressed

Akshay = not to be destroyed

Ubarana = to rescue

Sthyaan = not to be focused on doing good deeds

Meaning of bhajan👇

O God, we have received the best glimpse of your feet (2)

Saluting and bowing down in praise

With devotional feelings we have surrendered ourselves (2)

O God........

The glory of your devotion is unique

With which the desire for fame is fulfilled

The fame of your grace does not fade

I have brought the fame of your feet

O God..........

I do not desire external fame

The essence of your everlasting fame

Lord, your devotion has saved me

I have received the glory of your devotion

Your holy names are the ones that are chanted in the yagya

The keeping of the holy name is the most important

We keep the feeling of devotion from our words to our hearts

Let it resonate in our pure conscience  I have become

Oh God

If I get your auspicious glance

May I never be tormented by disease, pain, obstacles, hindrances

I want to take your holy name

I have taken the resolution to see your feet

Oh God..........

O Deva, we have got the darshan of your position, your attainable form, your feet. By repeatedly saluting you, praising you, bowing before you, surrendering with devotion, we have got the darshan of your rare position. All this is the glory of your devotion. Along with this, my old desire of getting fame has also been fulfilled. By your grace, I have got such fame which cannot fade. The fame received from external people is dependent on them, it keeps getting faded. But the inner fame that I have got by seeing your feet is everlasting, after getting it, now I do not have any desire for any external fame. Your servants also get a lot of fame from the noble men in the world, but that too is only a shadow of this inner fame received from you. O Agnidev, your devotion has saved me.  Your devotion is so great that if someone just keeps on keeping on the holy holy name that is to be recited in your yagya, keeps on reciting it in his heart with devotion while speaking it with his tongue, then by this name recitation, by keeping on the name, his conscience will become so pure that your benevolent gaze will be on him. By keeping on keeping on your benevolent gaze, he will keep on moving ahead happily. His diseases, sleeplessness, etc. will be removed and he will keep on progressing with happiness without any obstacles.

So, O Agni, can we also keep on keeping on your holy name? This is the least that we should do to reach towards you. We have to go till the end on the path of your love and one day be able to say that "We have had the darshan of your feet and have become a part of the immortal yagya."
