1169    उदित हुआ सूर्य आत्मज्ञान द्वारा क्लेश-निवृत्ति

ज्ञान का दिव्य सूर्य उदित हो चुका है, इसलिए मेरी चिरन्तन अज्ञान की रात्रि बीत गई है और मैं महानिद्रा से जाग उठा हूं। अबतक मैं बहुत सोया,बहुत सोया और निद्रा में न जाने पाप के कैसे-कैसे भयंकर-भयंकर दुस्वप्न देखता रहा अकल्याण व अनिष्ट के दु:खदायी स्वप्न देखता रहा,परन्तु अब यह सब समाप्त हो गए हैं। अज्ञान अवस्था में ही यह सब पपा दु:ख,अनिष्ट थे, अतः अब निद्रा समाप्ति के साथ वे सब भी समाप्त हो गए हैं । मैंने ब्रह्म को, महान ज्ञान को, आत्मज्ञान को, अपने अन्दर भर लिया है और उन स्वप्नो से आने वाले सब दु:खों, शोकों तथा पीड़ाओं को बाहर कर दिया है, हटा दिया है। ओह! सचमुच सब 'पाप' दु: स्वप्न ही था, सब 'अभूति' स्वप्न मात्र थी ! यह नींद की समाप्ति के साथ खत्म हो चुके हैं।अपने शोकों, क्लेशों, दुखों-सहित खत्म हो चुके हैं। मैं अब जाग गया हूं,जाग गया हूं।

पर्यावर्ते दु:स्वप्न्यात् पापात् स्वप्न्यादभूत्या :। 

ब्रह्माहमन्तरं कृण्वे परा स्वपनमुखा: शुच:।।अथ७.१००.१

दुखदायी पापों-तापो में 

हुआ अनिष्ट तो रोया 

अब अज्ञान को मैंने त्यागा 

अवसर मिला प्रतिभा का 

उदित सूर्य......... 

आत्मज्ञान को किया अन्तर्मुख 

पाया मैंने महासुख 

ब्रह्मानन्द की महिमा जानी 

मार्ग हुआ ना अवरुद्ध 

गई निशा भय पाप-ताप की 

बोझ हटा पीड़ा का 

उदित सूर्य....... 

हुआ प्रभासित सूर्य का आगम 

जागा ज्ञान दिवाकर 

स्वप्न मात्र ही रही अभूति 

ज्ञान में पूर्ण समाकर 

नींद हटी भय क्लेश, दु:ख हटे 

अनुभव हुआ प्रभा का

विभास= प्रकाश

 दु:स्वप्न= बुरे स्वप्न (पाप-ताप के ) 

अनिष्ट= अहितकर, बुरा

प्रतिभा= विलक्षण बौद्धिक शक्ति

अवरुद्ध= रुकावट, बाधा 

प्रभासित= प्रकाशित

आगम= आना, आगमन

दिवाकर= सूर्य 

अभूति= अकल्याण की भावना, अपने ना होने की अनुभूति

प्रभा= कांति तेज, वीर्य

Meaning of words:-

Vibhas = light

Duskrapna = bad dreams (of sins)

Anisht = harmful, bad

Pratibaha = extraordinary intellectual power

Abadh = obstruction, hindrance

Prabhasit = illuminated

Aagam = coming, arrival

Diwakar = Sun

Abhuti = feeling of misfortune, feeling of being absent

Prabha = lustre, brilliance

1169 The Sun Rises, Removal of Sufferings by Self-Knowledge

The divine Sun of knowledge has risen, so my eternal night of ignorance has passed and I have awakened from deep sleep. Till now I have slept a lot, slept a lot and in sleep I have seen many horrible nightmares of sins, painful dreams of misfortune and evil, but now all these have ended. All these sins, sorrows and evils were in the state of ignorance, so now with the end of sleep, all these have also ended. I have filled myself with Brahman, the great knowledge, self-knowledge, and have thrown out and removed all the sorrows, grief and pains that came from those dreams. Oh! Really all the 'sins' were nightmares, all the 'experiences' were just dreams! These have ended with the end of sleep. They have ended along with their sorrows, sufferings and pains.  I am awake now, I am awake.  Vedic Mantra

Till now I slept in deep sleep

In painful sins and sufferings

Now I have given up ignorance

Got the opportunity of talent

Rising sun........

Turned inward towards self-knowledge

Found great happiness

Knowledged the glory of Brahmananda

The path was not blocked

The fear of night went away

The burden of sin and suffering

The burden of pain was removed

Rising sun......

The bright sun arrived

The sun of knowledge awoke

The dream remained just a dream

By being fully absorbed in knowledge

Sleep disappeared, fear, pain and sorrow disappeared 

Experienced the radiance of the rising sun.........
