*ओ३म् अ॒यं ते॒ स्तोमो॑ अग्रि॒यो हृ॑दि॒स्पृग॑स्तु॒ शंत॑मः।*

ऋग्वेद 1/16/7

क्यों ना करें आत्मसात् 

वेदों की कही बात 

जो ज्ञान दिलाए 

और जीना भी सिखाए  

हम सब तो सहमत हैं 

वेद पक्षपात रहित है 

सृष्टि से ज्ञान  है पहला 

इन सब में सबका हित है 

आत्मा-परमात्मा का यह 

सच्चा व्यवहार सिखाएँ

गायन समय प्रातः काल लेकिन मधुर राग होने से संगीतज्ञ हर समय गाते हैं।

*शीर्षक :- वेद शान्ति प्रद है* भजन ७६७ वां

*तर्ज :- हो कैसी खुशी की है रात

स्तुतिसमूह = बहुत प्रकार की स्तुति

स्तोमवाणी = स्तुतियों से भरी वाणी

अनुष्ठान = कोई धार्मिक कार्य नियम पूर्वक आरम्भ करना

*प्रस्तुत भजन से सम्बन्धित पूज्य श्री ललित साहनी जी का सन्देश :-- 👇👇*

769    वेद शान्ति प्रद है

पक्षपात रहित सभी विद्वान इस बात में सहमत है कि वेद संसार में सबसे पुराना ग्रंथ है। इसलिए इसे 'अग्रिय' कहा है।

यह अग्रों का यानी पहलों‌का भी हितकारी है। सबसे पहला ज्ञान भगवान से मिलना चाहिए, वह वेद है। ईश्वर वचन होने से वेद की प्रमाणता है।

यह वेद स्तोम है। अर्थात् स्तुति का समूह है। तृण से ब्रह्मपर्यंत सभी पदार्थों की स्तुति--गुण-गाथा इसमें है। उदाहरण के तौर पर जीव के सम्बन्ध में कहा है--अब 'अपश्यं गोपामनिपद्यमानम्'--मैंने अविनाशी और गोप=इंद्रियों के स्वामी को देखा है। आत्मा को इंद्रियों से पृथक तथा अविनाशी कहा है। इसी प्रकार परमात्मा के सम्बन्ध में कहा है वेदाहमेतं पुरुषं महानतम.......(यजु•३१/८)=मैंने उस महान,सूर्य के प्रकाशक, अज्ञान अन्धकार से विरहित सर्वव्यापक के दर्शन किए हैं।

प्रकृति का भी निरूपण इन शब्दों में हुआ है--एषा सनत्नी सनमेव जातैषापुराणी परि सर्वबभूव.....(अथर्व१०/८/३०)=यह साधारण रहने वाली प्रकृति सदा से ही विद्यमान है यह पुरानी होती हुई भी नई सब कार्यों में विद्यमान है। इसी भांति जीवनोपयोगी सभी पदार्थों का ज्ञान वेद में कराया गया है और यह शन्तम:=अत्यंत शान्ति प्रदान करता है, अत्यंत शान्ति तो परमात्मा के दर्शन से होती है।

जो सब पदार्थों का अन्तरात्मा,सब आत्मा में रहने वाला, अकेला ही एक प्रकृति रूपी बीज को अनेक प्रकार का बना देता है, उस परमात्मा के जो ध्यानी दर्शन करते हैं, उन्हें की शाश्वत सुख मिलता है, दूसरों को नहीं। वह नीतियों में नित्य अर्थात् सदा एकरस और चेतनों का चेतन अर्थात् सर्वज्ञ है, वह अकेला अनेकों की कामनाएं पूरी करता है। उस आत्मा सके,धीर दर्शन करते हैं, उन्हें ही अखण्ड शान्ति मिलती है, दूसरों को नहीं।

ठीक है, शान्ति परमात्मा के दर्शन से मिलती है किन्तु परमात्मा के सम्बन्ध में यथार्थ ज्ञान वेद से ही मिलता है। तभी तो कहा है--नावेदविन्मनुते तं बृहन्तम्=वेद ना जानने वाला उस महान भगवान का मनन नहीं कर पाता, अतः वेद का श्रवण, अध्ययन, मनन, चिन्तन, धारण प्रत्येक शान्ति के अभिलाषी का कर्तव्य है।

इस भाग को लेकर कहा है हृदिस्पृक्=हृदय को स्पर्श करने वाला; केवल वाणी से ही वेद मन्त्र को ना रटे, हृदय में उनका स्पर्श भी हो। वेद तो है ही परमात्मा का वर्णन करने के लिए       ऋचो अक्षरे परमे व्योमन्[ऋ•१.१६४.३९]

वेद सर्वव्यापक, अविनाशी परमात्मा का ज्ञान कराने के लिए है। भगवान का आदेश है कि जब इस प्रकार तू इस     'अग्रिय' ज्ञान को हृदयस्पर्शी कर ले, तब निष्पादित सोम का ऐश्वर्य का पान कर।

बहुत सुन्दर बात कही है। पहले ज्ञान पीछे अनुष्ठान। पहले पदार्थों का ज्ञान, पश्चात उनका यथा योग्य उपयोग कर। ऋषि इसलिए ज्ञान को कर्म से पूर्व स्थान देते हैं।

ध्वनि निकलती है कि यदि वेद तुझे पदार्थों का ज्ञान कराने के लिए तथा तदनुसार कर्म करने के लिए दिया गया है, अतः तू वेद का अध्ययन करके उसके अनुसार जीवन बना और बिता। इसी में सफलता है।

769 Vedas are peace

givers

All unbiased scholars agree that Vedas are the oldest scriptures in the world. That is why it is called 'Agriya'.

It is beneficial for the Agriyas i.e. the first ones. The first knowledge that should be obtained from God is Vedas. Being the words of God, Vedas are authentic.

This Veda is a hymn. That is, it is a collection of praises. It contains praises and praises of all things from grass to Brahma. For example, it is said about the living being - now 'Apashyam Gopamanipadyamanam' - I have seen the indestructible and the master of the senses. The soul is said to be separate from the senses and indestructible. Similarly, it is said about the Supreme Soul - Vedahmetam Purusham Mahanatam......(Yajur 31/8) = I have seen that great, the illuminator of the sun, the omnipresent, free from the darkness of ignorance.

 Nature has also been described in these words-- Esha Sanatni Sanameva Jataisha Purani Pari Sarvabbhuva.....(Atharva 10/8/30)=This ordinary nature has always existed. It is old but still present in all new works. Similarly, knowledge of all the things useful for life has been given in the Vedas and this Shantam:=gives immense peace, the ultimate peace is obtained by the vision of God.

The inner soul of all things, the one who lives in all souls, who alone transforms the seed of nature into many types, those who meditate on that God get eternal happiness, not others. He is eternal in the principles, that is, always consistent and the consciousness of the conscious, that is, omniscient, he alone fulfills the desires of many. Only those who patiently see that soul get eternal peace, not others.  Yes, peace is achieved by seeing God but true knowledge about God is obtained only from the Vedas.  That is why it is said - Navedvinmanute Tam Brihantam = One who does not know the Vedas cannot meditate on that great God, hence listening, studying, meditating, thinking and adopting the Vedas is the duty of every peace-seeker.  Regarding this part it is said Hridisprik = one who touches the heart;  Do not just memorize the Vedic mantras with your words, they should also touch your heart.  Vedas are there only to describe God

Vedas are for giving the knowledge of the omnipresent, indestructible God. Bhagwan has ordered that when you have touched this 'Agriya' knowledge to your heart, then drink the wealth of the Soma performed.

Very beautiful thing has been said. First knowledge, then rituals. First knowledge of the things, then use them appropriately. That is why the sages give place to knowledge before action.

The sound comes out that if the Vedas have been given to you to give knowledge of the things and to do actions accordingly, then you should study the Vedas and build and live your life accordingly. This is success.
