 ‌‌         मैं क्या हूं ? 

मैं क्या हूं ? क्या मैं शरीर हूं? इसमें चेतन कहां से आई ? मैं क्या वास्तव में अमर हूं ? यह कुछ समझ में नहीं आता। या क्या मैं बिल्कुल परिस्थितियों का गुलाम हूं? परिमितता के इन बन्धनों से क्या मैं कभी छूट सकता हूं? यह संसार किस लिए है ? किधर जा रहा है? मेरा इससे क्या सम्बन्ध है? कुछ नहीं समझ पाता। हमारे दर्शनों में कोई कुछ कहता है, कोई कुछ। उधर पश्चिम के दार्शनिक कुछ और वैज्ञानिक कुछ कहते हैं। मैं अपने को सब ओर से बंधा हुआ अनुभव करता हूं,संशयों से दबा हुआ, इधर-उधर भटकता फिरता हूं, पर ज्ञान- तृप्ति कहीं नहीं होती । कहते हैं कि जब ' ऋतंभरा  प्रज्ञा ' का उदय होता है,तब कोई संशय नहीं रहता। उसके प्रकाश में प्रत्येक वस्तु बिल्कुल यथावत् दिखाई देती है, वहां संशय और भ्रम हो ही नहीं सकता । वह योग प्रत्यक्ष है,उसे प्रत्येक तत्व का साक्षात्कार प्रत्यक्ष हो जाता है। ओह! यदि वह 'ऋतंभरा प्रज्ञा' मुझे प्राप्त हो जाए,तो संसार की वाणियां, वेद- शास्त्र, दर्शन और विज्ञान जो कुछ कहते हैं उस सब का मतलब हल हो जाए । यह भिन्न-भिन्न वाणियां सब नव्य और पुरातन ग्रन्थ जो कुछ कहते हैं उनकी प्रतिपादित वस्तु मिल जाए। फिर यह परस्पर-विरुद्ध दीखनेवाले शास्त्रवचन मुझे बहका न सकेंगे । बस वह 'ऋतम्भरा प्रज्ञा', वही चाहिए और कुछ नहीं चाहिए। वही मेरे इस भयंकर सनिपात रोग का एकमात्र इलाज है। मुझे उसके बिना अब किसी सांसारिक ज्ञान से चैन नहीं मिल सकता। आह! ऋतंभरा प्रज्ञा ! ऋतंभरा प्रज्ञा !! उसी के लिए हैं मेरे सारे यत्न।

संसार है क्या? जा रहा किधर ?

इसमें मेरा है क्या सम्बन्ध? 

इस बन्धन में क्या परिमितता ?

क्या है आदि क्या इसका अन्त 

ब्रह्मजाल में फंसी है मन की पीर ।।

मैं क्या....... 

मैं दबा रहा हूं संशय में 

और भटक भटक इत उत मैं फिरूं 

कहीं ज्ञान की तृप्ति मिलती नहीं 

पूछूं मैं कहां ?और क्या मैं करूं? 

क्या दार्शनिक वैज्ञानिकों से 

पूछूं इसकी मैं सही तस्वीर ।। 

मैं क्या.......... 

कहते हैं प्रज्ञा ऋतम्भरा से 

जब हो जाता है हृदय- उदय 

ना राहत संशय ना अटकल 

होता प्रभूत तब हृद्य- हृदय 

तब वेद-शास्त्र, विज्ञान, दर्शन 

करते प्रतिपादित ज्ञान गंभीर 

मैं क्या ....... 

अब चाहूं ऋतंभरा प्रज्ञा 

और बन जाऊं मैं ज्ञानवृद्ध 

संघात रोगों की है चिकित्सा 

प्रज्ञा से जाने ऋत व सत्य 

तुझको पाने के लिए प्रभु 

हो जाऊं जीवन में विनयशील

संघात= आघात, टक्कर

I am suppressing myself in doubt

And wandering here and there

I do not find the satisfaction of knowledge anywhere

Should I ask where? And what should I do?

Should I ask the philosophers and scientists

about its true picture.

 What am I.......... 

They say wisdom from the Ritambara

When the heart rises

No relief, no doubt, no guess

Then the heart becomes full of wisdom

Then the Vedas, scriptures, science, philosophy

Propound the deep knowledge

What am I........

Now I want Ritambara wisdom

And I become a wise person

Will know the truth and the truth

To attain you, O Lord

I will become humble in life

parimitataa= limit, measure, quantity

Pragya = intelligence

Ritambara = Satvik intelligence that always lives with one emotion

Hridya = thrilled, astonished

Pratipaadit = certain

Gyanvriddh = extremely knowledgeable

Sanghaat = blow, collision

‌ ‌   ‌‌ What am I? 

What am I? Am I the body? Where did consciousness come from in it? Am I really immortal? I cannot understand this. Or am I a slave of circumstances? Can I ever be free from these bonds of finitude? What is this world for? Where is it going? What is my relation with it? I cannot understand anything. In our philosophy, some say one thing, some another. On the other hand, the philosophers of the West say something and the scientists say something else. I feel bound from all sides, burdened with doubts, I wander here and there, but there is no knowledge-satisfaction anywhere. It is said that when 'Ritambhara Prajna' arises, then there is no doubt. In its light, every object appears exactly as it is, there can be no doubt and confusion there. That yoga is direct, he gets the realization of every element. Oh!  If I get that 'Ritambhara Prajna', then the meaning of all the world's sayings, Vedas, scriptures, philosophy and science will be solved. Whatever these different sayings, all the new and old scriptures say, I will get the meaning of them. Then these seemingly contradictory sayings of the scriptures will not be able to mislead me. That 'Ritambhara Prajna' is all I need and nothing else. That is the only cure for this terrible disease of mine. Without that, I cannot get peace from any worldly knowledge. Ah! Ritambhara Prajna! Ritambhara Prajna!! All my efforts are for that.
