*वसु॑: सू॒नुः सह॑सो अ॒प्सु राजा॒ वि भा॒त्यग्र॑ उ॒षसा॑मिधा॒नः ॥*

ऋग्वेद 10/45/5

आओ हम अग्नि राजा की 

तेजोमय शरण में जाएँ 

राजा की है निराली शान

प्रजा के काम जो आए

आओ हम अग्नि राजा की 

वह ऐश्वर्यों का है स्वामी

वह सम्पत्तियों का है धारक

वह साधक के भीतर श्री को 

भी अनुदान करना चाहे

आओ हम अग्नि राजा की 

कुसंगति में पड़ा मानव

असत्य और हिंसा से बिखरे

प्रभु उसे करता है जागरूक

अहिंसा सत्य उपजाये

आओ हम अग्नि राजा की 

वह भौतिक सम्पत्ति मानव 

को देता है कृपालु बन

मनीषा आशा और उत्साह

की देता है प्रतिभाएँ 

आओ हम अग्नि राजा की 

तेजोमय शरण में जाएँ

उषाओं के आगे चमकने वाला राजा

 आओ, हम अग्नि राजा की तेजोमय प्रभु- राजा की शरण में जाएं। वह राजा कैसा है, उसके कैसी निराली शान है, वह अपनी प्रजा को क्या देता है, यह भी वेद के शब्दों में सुन लें। वह साधक के अन्दर श्री को अर्थात् आध्यात्मिक, मानसिक, और शारीरिक परम शोभा को उत्पन्न करने वाला है। वह ऐश्वर्योंका, समस्त सपृहणीय धन- सम्पत्तियों का, धारण करने वाला है। वह मनुष्य के कुसंगति आदि में पड़ जाने से उसके पास से एक- एक करके सत्य- अहिंसा आदि सम्पत्तियां

बिखरने लगती हैं। तब वह उसे जागरूक करके  उसकी उन सम्पत्तियों का धारक बनता है। वह मानव की भौतिक सम्पत्ति को भी उसके पास धृत रखने में निमित्त बनाता है, उसे दरिद्र नहीं होने देता। वह मनीषाओं का, मन की अभीप्साओं का,सस्फूरणाओं का, प्रतिभाओं और बुद्धियोंका प्रकृष्ट दाता है। वह 'सोमगोपा'

हैं, आत्मा रूपी सोम का रक्षक है। साथ ही वह सोम शब्द से सूचित होनेवाली सौम्यता, समस्वरता, अन्तः प्रेरणा, शान्ति, ज्ञान की अमृतमयी धारा आदि का भी रक्षक है। वह 'वसु' है, उजड़ते हुए को बसाने वाला है, बसे हुए के निवास को दृढ़ करने वाला है। वह 'सहस'का 'सूनु' है, साहस, मनोबल, आत्म बल आदि का पुत्र या पुतला है।

अन्धकार को विच्छिन्न करने वाली चमकीली उषाएं प्राची में प्रतिदिन उदित होती हैं, क्या वे स्वयं अपनी शक्ति से चमक रही हैं? नहीं? इन्हें चमकाने वाला वही अग्नि स्वरूप परमेश्वर है। सूक्ष्म आंख से देखने पर वही अपनी दिव्य चमक से चमकता हुआ-उषाओं के आगे- आगे चलता है। और, अन्तरिक्षस्थ जलों में जो विद्युत विद्योतित होती है वह भी जल की अपनी द्युति नहीं है, परमात्मग्नि ही विद्युत को भी भासमान कर रहा है। उपनिषद के ऋषि ने ठीक कहा है--ना उसके सम्मुख सूर्य अपनी कुछ चमक रखता है, ना चांद तारे कुछ चमक रखते हैं, न बिजलियां कुछ चमक रखती है, ना भौतिक अग्नि चमक रखती है। उसी की चमक में से थोड़ी सी चमक लेकर यह सब चमक रहे हैं, खुशी की आभा से यह जगत भासमान है।

'तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति'।

आओ उषाओं और विद्युतों के आगे चमकने वाले उस राजा से हम भी थोड़ी सी चमक प्राप्त कर लें।

**Swaadhaay-Message of Pujya Shri Lalit Sahni Ji regarding the presented bhajan :-- 👇👇*

 The king who shines before the dawns

  Let us take refuge in the glorious lord- king of the fire king.  Hear also in the words of the Vedas what that king is like, what his unique splendor is, what he gives to his subjects.  He is the one who produces Sri within the seeker, that is, the supreme beauty of spiritual, mental, and physical.  He is the possessor of riches, of all desirable wealth.  He takes away from man one by one the properties of truth, non-violence, etc., by falling into misconduct, etc

 They start to scatter.  Then he makes her aware and becomes the holder of those properties of hers.  He also makes the material possessions of man an excuse to keep with him, not allowing him to become poor.  He is the supreme giver of wisdom, of the desires of the mind, of inspirations, of talents and intelligences.  He is 'Somgopa'

 are, the protector of the soul-like Soma.  He is also the protector of the gentleness, harmony, inner motivation, peace, nectarine stream of knowledge etc. indicated by the word Soma.  He is 'Vasu', the settler of the desolate, the firmer of the dwelling of the settled.  He is the 'Sunu' of 'Sahas', the son or puppet of courage, morale, self-strength, etc.

 The bright dawns that dispel the darkness rise every day in the east, are they shining with their own power?  Not?  It is God in the form of fire who makes them shine.  When viewed with the subtle eye, the same shines with its divine radiance—before the dawns—forward.  And, the electricity that shines in the waters in space is not the light of the water itself, it is the Supreme Fire that is also illuminating the lightning.  The sage of the Upanishads is right--neither the sun has some of its luster before him, nor the moon and stars have any luster, nor the lightnings have any luster, nor the physical fire have any luster.  They are all shining with a little of His radiance, this world is illuminated by the radiance of joy.

 'By His light all this shines.

 Let us also receive a little shine from that King who shines before the dawns and lightnings.
