*ओ३म् अति॒ निहो॒ऽ अति॒ स्रिधोऽत्यचि॑त्ति॒मत्यरा॑तिमग्ने।*

*विश्वा॒ ह्यग्ने दुरि॒ता सह॒स्वाथा॒ऽस्मभ्य॑ꣳ स॒हवीरा र॒यिं दाः॑॥६॥*

यजुर्वेद 27/6

बनते बनते बात बिगड़ती

जब स्वार्थ मन में आता है

किन्तु प्रभु की शरण को पाकर 

मन सद्गुणों को निभाता है

गहरे गहरे विषय-भोग

राह अनजानी रे

पाप दूरित की 

चाह मनमानी रे

असत् अनत अघ 

अरस अनय का

मार्ग जीवन को सताता है

प्रभु !! मार्ग जीवन को सताता है

बनते बनते बात बिगड़ती

जब स्वार्थ मन में आता है

अज्ञान वृत्तियाँ ना हों कर्तव्यहीन

कामादि रोग ना लें लेवें सुख छीन 

छुटकारा दो इनसे  प्रभुजी

पाप से तू ही बचाता है

प्रभु ! पाप से तू ही बचाता है

बनते बनते बात बिगड़ती

जब स्वार्थ मन में आता है

असत् को त्याग दें

ना हो कर्म की हानि रे

द्वेष-दुरित जाएँ भाग

बोलें  मधुर वाणी रे

पाएँ ना पशु-पक्षियों की योनि

लेकिन पाप ले जाता है

हाँ ! लेकिन पाप ले जाता है

बनते बनते बात बिगड़ती

जब स्वार्थ मन में आता है

द्वेष-वृत्ति पिण्ड ना छोड़ें

भाइयों की नादानी रे

क्रोध से साथ छूटे

कैसी ये नादानी रे

भय, भ्रम, भूल-भुलैया भगाओ

प्रभु तू ही तो पिता माता है

बनते बनते बात बिगड़ती

जब स्वार्थ मन में आता है

त्याग दें विकर्म तो, दे देना ऐश्वर्य

जिससे करें हम शुभ कर्म वर्य

पाये ऐश्वर्य को बाँट सकें हम

युक्ति यही तू सिखाता है

बनते बनते बात बिगड़ती

जब स्वार्थ मन में आता है

किन्तु प्रभु की शरण को पाकर

दुरित दूर करके ऐश्वर्य प्रदान कीजिए

हे दुर्गुणों को दूर करने वाले तेजस्वी परमात्मन् ! हम आपकी शरण में आकर आप से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आप हमारे अन्दर आई हुई समस्त बुराइयों को दूर कर हमें निर्मल कर दीजिए। हम विषय भोग- जन्य दोषों में फंस गए हैं, जो दोष हमें विनष्ट किए जा रहे हैं। उनसे आप हमारा उद्धार कीजिए। हम असत्य कर्मो में व्याप्त हो जाते हैं, जिनके परिणामस्वरूप ईश्वरीय व्यवस्था के अनुसार फल भोग के लिए पशु-पक्षी आदि की निकृष्ट योनियों में हमारा जन्म लेना अनिवार्य हो जाता है। और असत्य कर्मों से हटाकर निकृष्ट योनियों में हमारी गति को दूर कीजिए। अनेक काम आदि विकार और अनेक शारीरिक रोग हमारा शोषण कर रहे हैं, उनसे आप हमें छुटकारा दिलाए। हम अज्ञान वृत्तियों और अजागरूकताओं के वश हो कर्तव्य विमुख हुए जा रहे हैं।आप उनसे मुक्त कर हमें ज्ञानी, प्रचेता और जागरूक बनाइए।

हे भगवन्! द्वेष वृत्तियां भी हमारा पिण्ड नहीं छोड़ रही हैं। एक ही अमर परमात्मा के पुत्र होने के नाते परस्पर भाई- भाई होते हुए भी हम द्वेष भावनाओं के शिकार हो आपस में लड़ रहे हैं, एक-दूसरे का संहार कर रहे हैं, और इस प्रकार आपकी पवित्र सृष्टि को दूषित कर रहे हैं। हमें द्वेष- वृत्तियों से पार कीजिए। संक्षेप में कहें तो जो भी दुरित आकर हमारे अन्दर प्रविष्ट हो गए हैं, पाप, दुष्कर्म, दुर्व्यसन आ घुसे हैं, उन्हें आप हमारे अन्दर से निकालकर बाहर कर दीजिए और हमारे आचरणों

 को पवित्र बना दीजिए।

इस प्रकार हमारे अन्दर से सब दुरितों को

दूर करने तथा जीवन को पवित्र करने के पश्चात् आप हमें ऐश्वर्य प्रदान कीजिए। अपवित्र आत्मा और अनिर्मल व्यक्तित्व

ऐश्वर्यों को सम्भाल नहीं सकता। उसके पास आकर ऐश्वर्य भी अभिशाप बन जाते हैं। अतः दुरित-निवारण के पश्चात् ही हम आन्तरिक और बाह्य ऐश्वर्यों को पाना चाहते हैं। साथ ही हम अकेले ही ऐश्वर्यों के अधिकारी नहीं होना चाहते, अपितु परिवार एवं राष्ट्र के समस्त वीरों को भी उस में सहभागी बनाना चाहते हैं।

हे परम प्रभु! हम पर आप अपनी अनवरत कृपा बरसाते रहें।

When selfishness enters the mind

But after taking refuge in God

The mind follows the virtues

The path of deep sensual pleasures

Is unknown

The desire to remove sins

Is arbitrary

The path of falsehood, infinite sin

The path of injustice

Torments life

O Lord!!  The path troubles life

Things go wrong while being made

When selfishness comes into mind

Let not the ignorant tendencies be irresponsible

Let not the lustful diseases snatch away happiness

Prabhuji, free us from these

Only you can save us from sin

Prabhu! Only you can save us from sin

Let not the falsehood be destroyed in karma

Let hatred and evil go away

Let sweet words be spoken

Let not one be born as an animal or a bird

But sin takes us away

Yes!  But sin takes us away

Oh foolishness of brothers

What kind of foolishness is this that we part ways with anger

Drive away fear, confusion, and the labyrinth

O Lord, you are the father and mother

If we give up our evil deeds, give us prosperity

So that we can do good deeds

And we can distribute prosperity

This is the trick you teach

Remove the evil and give us prosperity

O radiant God who removes the evils! We come to your shelter and pray to you that you remove all the evils that have come inside us and purify us. We are trapped in the evils caused by sensual pleasures, the evils which are destroying us. Please deliver us from them. We get engrossed in untruthful deeds, as a result of which, according to the divine system, it becomes necessary for us to take birth in the inferior species of animals and birds etc. to enjoy the fruits. And remove us from untruthful deeds and remove our movement in inferior species. Many vices like lust etc. and many physical diseases are exploiting us, please free us from them. We are becoming duty-averse due to ignorance and lack of awareness. Please free us from them and make us knowledgeable, aware and conscious.

O Lord!  Hatred is also not leaving our body. Being sons of the same immortal God and brothers, we are victims of hatred and are fighting among ourselves, killing each other, and thus polluting your holy creation. Free us from hatred. In short, whatever evils have entered us, sins, bad deeds, bad habits, remove them from within us and make our conduct pure.

In this way, after removing all the evils from within us and purifying our lives, please give us prosperity. An impure soul and an unpure personality cannot handle prosperity. Even prosperity becomes a curse when it comes to them. Therefore, only after getting rid of evils, we want to attain internal and external prosperity.  Also, we do not want to be the sole possessor of wealth, but we want to make all the heroes of the family and the nation a part of it.

O Supreme Lord! Keep showering your blessings on us continuously.
