माकिर्न एना सख्या वि यौषुस्तव चेन्द्र विमदस्य च ऋषे: । 

विद्या हि ते प्रमतिं देव जामिवदस्मे ते सन्तु सख्या शिवानि।।                    ऋग्वेद•१०.२३.७

सत्य ज्ञान है दृष्टा है आत्मा 

विमद ऋषि है यह आत्मा 

आनन्द का ग्रहीता ज्ञानवान गुणी 

लेते आत्मा सत्- ज्ञान का आनन्द ।।

सत्य ज्ञान........ 

ज्ञानों का आनन्द भिन्न-भिन्न स्तर का 

कोई निम्न कोई मध्यम.उच्च कोई 

चोरी हो मदिरापान, हत्या, डाका- काम तमाम 

निम्न कोटि का है आनन्द सोई 

स्वयं को होती इससे हानि 

और समाज प्रताड़न।।

सत्यज्ञान......... 

दूसरों की निन्दा, अदृश्य दर्शनादि, 

व्यासनादि से भी जो मिलता आनन्द 

ये तो आनन्द है मध्य कोटि का 

यह तो स्वयं को ही होता पसंद 

लालच, तृष्णा, व्यसन तजो 

वरना ये दु:ख के कारण ।। 

सत्यज्ञान,.......... 

दीन-दु:खिया सेवा, राष्ट्र भक्ति- सेवा 

प्रभु भक्ति का भी दिव्य आनन्द 

उच्च कोटि का मिले हार्दिक परम आनन्द 

मिलता समाज को भी आनन्द 

जिस वर्ग के हैं मित्र- साथी 

मिलता वैसा आनन्द 

सत्य ज्ञान........ 

संत महात्मा, साधु सन्यासी, 

राज्याधिकारी धार्मिक सुजन 

उनके संग मित्रता, मिले अवसर ज्ञान का 

विमद ऋषि बन सकते हैं हम 

जगदीश्वर से हो मैत्री मिलता ज्ञान आनन्द ।। 

सत्य ज्ञान......... 

हे इन्द्र जगदीश करो ज्योति उद्दीप्त 

विमद ऋषियों की दो मैत्री उत्तम 

होवे जिससे उद्धार और तरिणी हो पार 

दूर ही कुमार्ग जो है अधम 

मैत्रियां शिवमय हो करुणेश !

प्रत्येक मानव के अन्दर एक विमद ऋषि बैठा हुआ है। आत्मा ही विमद ऋषि है। ऋषि कहते हैं दृष्टा को। आत्मा ज्ञान का दृष्टा होने से ऋषि और विविध मदों या अनन्दों का ग्रहीता होने से विमद कहाता है। परन्तु ज्ञानों तथा आनन्दों का स्तर प्रत्येक आत्मा का भिन्न-भिन्न है। 

प्रत्येक आत्मा को ज्ञान के साधन के रूप में मन और ज्ञान- इन्द्रियां मिली हुई हैं। इनसे कोई निम्न स्तर का ज्ञान संगृहीत करता है,कोई मध्यम स्तर का और कोई उच्च स्तर का। इस ज्ञान की अनुभूति से वह आनन्दित होता है। आनन्द भी निम्न, मध्यम या उच्च स्तर के होते हैं। चोरी, मदिरापान, हत्या आदि से जो आनन्द मिलता है वह निम्न कोटि का है, क्योंकि इनसे स्वयं को भी तथा समाज को भी हानि पहुंचती है । दूसरे की निन्दा करने,अदृश्य दर्शन करने आदि के व्यसन से जो आनन्द मिलता है वह मध्यम कोटि का है क्योंकि उससे मुख्यत: स्वयं को हानि पहुंचती है। दीन-दु:खियों की सेवा, राष्ट्रभक्ति, प्रभु भक्ति आदि में जो आनन्द आता है वह उत्कर्ष कोटि का है, क्योंकि उससे स्वयं को भी तथा समाज को भी लाभ पहुंचता है। हम कैसे ज्ञान और आनन्द में रुचि लेते हैं यह बहुत कुछ इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि हमारी मित्रता किन लोगों के साथ है। निम्न वर्ग, मध्यम वर्ग या उच्च वर्ग के लोगों से सङ्गति होने पर हम क्रमशः निम्न, मध्यम तथा उच्च ज्ञान तथा आनन्द में रस लेते हैं। गुरुजन, संत- महात्मा, विरक्त साधु- सन्यासी, धार्मिक राज्याधिकारी आदि श्रेष्ठ जनों से मैत्री होने से मनुष्य श्रेष्ठ ज्ञान एवं आनन्द में रुचि लेता है। श्रेष्ठों में भी श्रेष्ठ तो इन्द्र जगदीश्वर है। श्रेष्ठजनों से मैत्री के साथ-साथ यदि जगदीश्वर से भी हम इस में हम मैत्री जोड़े, तो हम उत्कृष्ट 'विमद ऋषि 'बन सकते हैं। तब हमारे ज्ञानो और आनन्दों  का स्तर अत्यधिक उन्नत हो सकता है।

हे इन्द्र जगदीश्वर ! ऐसी कृपा करो कि तुम्हारी और हम विमद ऋषियों की मित्रता को कोई भी तोड़ने ना पाए। तुम्हारी मित्रता से हमें तुम्हारी प्रमति प्राप्त होगी,जिससे हमारा उद्धार हो जाएगा। हम कुमार्ग पर इसी कारण चलते हैं कि हमारे पास प्रमति( प्रकृष्ट मति) नहीं होती 

 हे देव ! तुमसे प्राप्त प्रमिति को हम बहिन के समान उपकारक समझते हैं। हे करुणेश ! तुम्हारी मित्रताएं  हमारे लिए सदा ' शिव ' बनी रहें। मैत्रियां शिव तभी हो सकती हैं, जब दोनों ओर से मित्रता का हाथ बढ़े। है प्रभु! तुम हमारे हो जाओ, हम तुम्हारे हो जाएं, दोनों मिलकर 'सत्यं शिवं सुन्दरम् ' की आराधना करें।

vimad rishi hai ye aatmaa 

anand kaa grahitaa gyaanavaan gunee 

lele aatmaa sat- gyaan kaa aanand ।।

Gyaanon kaa aanand bhinna-bhinna stur kaa 

koi nimna koi madhyam.uccha koee 

chori ho madiraapaan, hatyaa, dakaa- kaam tamaam 

nimna koti kaa hai anand soee 

svayam ko hoti isase haani 

aura samaj prataadan।।

 dusron ki nindaa, adrishya darshan, 

vyasanwadi se bhi jo milataa aanand 

ye to anand hai madhya koti kaa 

yah to swayam ko hi hota pasand 

laalach, trishnaa, vyasan tajo 

varana ye du:kh ke kaaran ।।

prabhu bhakti kaa bhi divya aanand 

ucch koti kaa mile hardik param aanand

rajyaadhikaari dhaarmik sujan 

unake sang mitrataa, mile avasar gyaan kaa 

vimad rishi ban sakate hain hum 

jagadishvar se ho maitri milataa gyaan aanand ।।

hay indra jagadish karo jyoti uddeept 

vimad rishiyon ki do maitree uttam 

hove jisase uddhaar aur tarinee ho paar 

door ho kumaarg jo hai adham 

maitriyan shivamaya ho karunesh !

 Different levels of enjoyment of knowledge 

 No low no medium.no high 

 Theft, drunkenness, murder, robbery- all the work 

 Low-class is Anand Soi 

 It would have been a loss to himself 

 and social persecution.

 Truthfulness. 

 Slander of others, invisible visions, 

 The joy that comes from Vyasana and others 

 This is the joy of the middle class 

 It would have been selfish 

 Give up greed, craving, addiction 

 Otherwise, these are the causes of suffering. 

 Truthfulness,. 

  Service to the poor, patriotic- service 

 Even the divine joy of devotion to the Lord 

 Get the heartfelt ultimate joy of high quality 

 Gets joy to the society too 

 The class of which are friends- companions 

 Get such joy 

 True Knowledge. 

 Sant Mahatma, Sadhu Sanyasi, 

 Statesman Religious Eugenics 

 Friendship with them, get the opportunity to know 

 We can become Vimad Rishis 

 Friendship with the Lord of the universe brings knowledge and joy. 

 True knowledge. 

 O Indra, Lord of the universe, illuminate the light 

 The two friendships of the Vimad sages are excellent 

 May there be salvation and salvation across 

 Far from the evil path which is the lowest 

 Friendships are Shivamaya, O Karunesh!

 Truth Shiva is beautiful

 Within every human being sits a Vimad Rishi.  The soul is the Vimad Rishi.  The sage says to the seer.  The soul is called a sage because it is the seer of knowledge and Vimad because it is the recipient of various pleasures.  But the level of knowledges and joys is different for each soul. 

 Every soul has got the mind and the senses of knowledge as the means of knowledge.  Some of these store low level knowledge, some medium level and some high level.  He rejoices in the realization of this knowledge.  Bliss is also of low, medium or high level.  The pleasure that comes from stealing, drinking, killing, etc. is of a low order, because they cause harm to oneself and to society.  The pleasure that comes from the addiction of condemning others, seeing the invisible, etc. is of moderate quality because it mainly harms oneself.  The joy that comes from serving the poor and suffering, patriotism, devotion to the Lord, etc. is of the highest order, because it benefits both oneself and society.  How we are interested in knowledge and joy depends a lot on the people we are friends with.  When we associate with people from the lower class, the middle class or the upper class, we indulge in low, middle and high knowledge and joy respectively.  By being friends with the best people like teachers, saints, mahatmas, detached sadhu-sanyasis, religious statesmen, etc., man takes interest in the best knowledge and joy.  Even the best of the best is Indra, the Lord of the universe.  Along with friendship with the best, if we add friendship with the Lord of the universe, we can become an excellent 'Vimad Rishi'  Then our level of knowledge and joys can be greatly elevated.

 O Indra, Lord of the universe!  Please do so that no one can break the friendship between you and us Vimad Rishis.  Your friendship will give us your grace, which will save us.  We walk on the wrong path because we do not have pramati (excellent mind). 

  O God !  We consider the pramit received from you as helpful as a sister.  O Karunesh!  May your friendships always remain ' Shiva ' for us.  Friendships can only be Shiva, when the hand of friendship extends from both sides.  O Lord!  You become ours, we become yours, let us both worship 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' together.
