प्रभु सब का है सहारा

वह परमपिता हमारा

है सभी बलों का स्वामी

सच्चा सखा हमारा

प्रभु सब का है सहारा

वह परमपिता हमारा

पिछले जन्म में शायद

अपध्यान कर लिया हो

धनी बन के धन व बल का

अभिमान कर लिया हो

अभिमान में ही शायद

प्रभु ही गया विसारा

प्रभु सब का है सहारा

वह परमपिता हमारा

इस जन्म का यह देह

दीखे है वृद्ध चाहे

अनुभव मगर पुराना

यह तथ्य समझाये

क्यों मुक्त  हुआ ना मैं

और दूर था किनारा

प्रभु सब का है सहारा

वह परमपिता हमारा

बलशाली मेरे ईश्वर!

क्षण भर ना दूर होना

व्याकुल मैं होके तुमको 

चाहूँ कभी न खोना 

मुझे वृद्ध की हो लाठी

और तुम ही हो निस्तारा

परमेश्वर मेरी लाठी

हे भगवन्! जन्म जन्मान्तरों से इस संसार में आता रहता हूं इसलिए जन्म ले लेकर बूढ़ा हुआ हुआ हूं और चाहे यह देह दीखने में वृद्ध ना हो किन्तु सच्चे अर्थ में मैं जीर्ण हूं, पुराना हूं अतैव अनुभवी हूं, यह अनुभव हर जन्म में आप के अनुग्रह से ही समय-समय पर मुझे मिलता रहा है, इसलिए आप मेरे सहारे हो, प्रभु आप मेरी लाठी हो। पर अब मैं तुम्हें 'शवस्पते'करके सम्बोधन करता हूं। तुम सब बलों के स्वामी हो इसलिए सभी प्रयोजन आपके बलों से ही सिद्ध हुए हैं यह मैंने सुदीर्घ अनुभव से जान लिया है। मैंने अज्ञान वश धनाढ्य धनी होकर धनबल का, तो कभी दल बनाकर दलबन्दी के बल का घमण्ड किया है। कभी बुद्धिबल, चतुराई बल, के मुकाबले में अकड़कर चला और दुनिया को हेय समझा, छोटा समझा। ओह! शरीरबलों और शस्त्रबलों का तो कहना ही क्या! सारी पृथ्वी को तहस-नहस करने की फिराक में बैठा खुद को बलों का स्वामी मान बैठा है, उसे यह नहीं पता कि क्षण भर में उसका अस्तित्व मिट सकता है परन्तु आज मुझे इतने लम्बे, अनगिनत योनियों के सुदीर्घ अनुभव से ज्ञात हो चुका है कि मैं जीर्ण हूं-पुराना हूं-वृद्ध हूं और बलों के स्वामी परमेश्वर के आगे नगण्य हूं। किन्तु यदि परमेश्वर के अनुशासित बलों का विवेक पूर्वक आश्रय लेकर उसे अपनी लाठी बनाकर चला तो परमेश्वर मुझे सही दिशा की ओर ले जाएगा।

हे मेरे एकमात्र बल! तुम क्षण भर के लिए भी मुझसे अलग ना होना, दूर ना होना। मैं अपने मानसिक विचार- नेत्रों से तुम्हें कभी भी ओझल ना पाऊं, नहीं तो मैं दिशाहीन होकर व्याकुल हो जाऊंगा। निस्सहाय हो जाऊंगा। इसलिए हे मुझ वृद्ध की लाठी! हे मुझ निर्बल के बल! हे एकमात्र सहारे! तुम अब सदा मेरे साथ रहो। सधस्थ बने रहो। अब मैं तुमसे और दूर नहीं रह सकता।

God is my stick

O Lord! I keep coming to this world from birth to birth, therefore I have become old by taking birth and though this body may not look old, but in the true sense I am worn out, old and therefore experienced, I have been getting this experience from time to time by your grace in every birth, therefore you are my support, Lord you are my stick. But now I address you as 'Shavaspate'. You are the master of all powers, therefore all purposes have been accomplished by your powers only, I have come to know this from long experience. Due to ignorance, I have become very rich and have been proud of my wealth, and sometimes of the power of forming a group. Sometimes in comparison to the power of intellect, the power of cleverness, I have walked with arrogance and considered the world despicable, small. Oh! What to say about the physical powers and the power of weapons!  He, who is busy in destroying the whole earth, has considered himself the master of all powers. He does not know that his existence can be wiped out in a moment. But today, after such a long experience of countless lives, I have come to know that I am worn out, old and aged and am insignificant in front of God, the master of all powers. But if I take shelter of the disciplined powers of God wisely and make them my stick, then God will lead me in the right direction.

Oh my only strength! Do not separate yourself from me, do not go far from me even for a moment. I should never lose sight of you from my mental thoughts, otherwise I will become restless and directionless. I will become helpless. Therefore, Oh the stick of an old man like me! Oh the strength of a weak man like me! Oh the only support! Now you should always be with me. Remain calm. Now I cannot stay away from you any more.  🎧 821st Vedic Hymn🕉️🌹
