         राग भैरवी का गायन समय प्रातः काल

न तमंहो न दुरितं कुतश्चन,नारातयस्तितिरुर्न द्वायाविन:। 

विश्वा इदस्माद ध्वरसो विबाधसे, यं सुगोपा रक्षसि ब्रह्मणस्पते।।      ऋगवेद  २.२४.५

ब्रह्मणस्पति हो तुम परमात्मन् 

वेद-ज्ञान के अधिपति हो भगवन्

सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड के ऐश्वर्यावान 

शरणागत को तुम देते हो शरण 

ब्रह्मणस्पति..........

जिसकी सुरक्षा लेते हो हाथ में 

विघ्न ना आएं अन्तस्ताप में 

प्रभु-मित्र का कष्ट होता अनागम 

ब्रह्मणस्पति........

ब्रह्मणस्पति जब मित्र हो जाते 

ना पीड़ा ना दुष्फल लाते

अन्तर बाह्य  शत्रु का होता विनाशन ।। 

ब्रह्मणस्पति........ 

स्वार्थ की वृत्ति दान भाव आते 

जो लोग द्वयावी हैं सब हार जाते 

ब्रह्मणस्पति मित्र का होता है रक्षण ।। 

ब्रह्मणस्पति ....... 

हे ब्रह्मणस्पति ! हे जगदीश्वर !

हिंसकों को करो दूर आएं ना भीतर 

काम क्रोध आदि करें ना अतिक्रमण ।। 

ब्रह्मणस्पति........ 

हे ब्रह्मणस्पति कर दो सुरक्षा 

संकटों को हर लो 

करो शुभ व्यवस्था 

प्रगति के पथ पर चलते रहे हम

ब्रह्मणस्पति..........

 अदान= दान ना देना स्वार्थ भाव

अन्तस्ताप= आन्तरिक दु:ख 

आदान दान ना देना 

द्वयावी= दुगलेआचरण वाले वंचक

                         👇 उपदेश 👇

हे परमात्मा तुम ब्रह्मणस्पति हो,'ब्रह्म' अर्थात् सकल वेद ज्ञान, सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड वह सकल ऐश्वर्य के अधिपति हो। अतः जो तुम्हारी शरण में आ जाता है, और जिसकी सुरक्षा तुम अपने हाथ में ले लेते हो, वह स्वभावत:  समस्त विपत्तियों एवं समस्त विघ्न बाधाओं से तर जाता है। सामान्य मनुष्य प्राय: कुसंगति आदि में पड़कर पाप के पंक में फंस जाया करता है,पर ब्रह्मणस्पति प्रभु के मित्र को पाप कभी नहीं घेरता, न ही उसे कहीं से 'दुरित' अर्थात् दुष्फल प्राप्त होता है,जबकि सामान्य- जन अनेक विध दुष्फलों से ग्रस्त एवं पीड़ित रहते हैं। न ही उसे आन्तरिक और बाह्य शत्रु पराभूत करते हैं, ना अदानभाव या स्वार्थ वृत्तियां उसे दबोचती हैं।  न ही वे लोग उसे कोई हानि पहुंचा पाते हैं जो 'द्वयावी' है अर्थात् जिनका द्विविध आचरण है, जिनके मन में कुछ और है तथा क्रिया में कुछ और, जो ऊपर से स्वयं को हितेषी प्रकट करते हैं किन्तु अन्दर जिनके विषभरार होता है। जिस पर ब्रह्मणस्पति प्रभु की कृपा नहीं हुई है, वह ऐसे द्वयावी लोगों के चंगुल में फंस जाता है तथा स्वयं को बर्बाद कर बैठता है। पर 'ब्रह्मणस्पति' प्रभु जिनके साथ है वह ऐसे व्यक्तियों से छला नहीं जा सकता। 

हे ब्रह्मणस्पति जगदीश्वर! जिसे तुम अपनी सुरक्षा में ले लेते हो वह समस्त हिंसकों को परास्त कर देता है। ये हिंसक हैं मनुष्य के अन्दर रहने वाली हिंसा वृत्तियां, काम क्रोध लोभ मोह आदि मनोविकार तथा हिंसा उपद्रव मचाने वाले मनुष्य । ब्रह्मणस्पति  के सखा को इनमें से कोई हिंसक हिंसित एवं क्षतिग्रस्त नहीं कर पता अपितु  वह इन सबको विबाधित, पराजित एवं विनष्ट करता हुआ निरन्तर उन्नति करता जाता है। हे ब्रह्मणस्पति  प्रभु! तुम हमें भी अपनी सुरक्षा में ले लो और संकटों से हमारा उद्धार कर प्रगति पथपर अग्रसर कर हमें उन्नति के शिखर पर पहुंचा दो।

ved-gyaan ke adhipati ho bhagavan

sampurna bramhaand ke aishvaryavaan 

sharanaagat ko tum dete ho sharan

jisaki surakshaa lete ho haath men 

vighna na aayen antastaap men 

prabhu-mitra ka kasht hota anagam 

bramanaspati........

bramanaspati jab mitra ho jaate 

na pidaa na dushfal laate

antar baahya  shatru kaa hotaa vinaashan ।। 

bramanaspati........ 

swaarth ki vritti adaan bhav aate 

jo log dvayaavi hain sab haar jaate 

bramanaspati mitra kaa hotaa hai rakshan ।।

hinsaaon ko karo door aayen naa bheetar 

kaam krodh adi karen naa atikraman ।।

You are the lord of Vedic knowledge, O Lord

O glorious being of the entire universe

You give shelter to those who seek refuge

O Brahmanaspati..........

Whose protection you take in your hands

No obstacles  Come to the inner anguish

The Lord's friend's pain becomes unattainable

Brahmanaspati........

When Brahmanaspati becomes a friend

He neither brings pain nor bad results

The internal and external enemy is destroyed.  Brahmanaspati........

Selfishness gives way to charitable attitude

All those who are dualistic lose

Brahmanaspati protects his friends.  Brahmanaspati ....... 

Oh Brahmanaspati!  O Jagadishwar !  Keep the violent ones away, do not come inside

Do not transgress, do not indulge in lust, anger etc.  Brahmanaspati........

O Brahmanaspati, provide protection

Remove the troubles

Make auspicious arrangements

Let us continue walking on the path of progress

O Supreme God, you are Brahmanaspati, 'Brahma' means the lord of all the knowledge of Vedas, the entire universe and all the wealth. Therefore, the one who comes to your shelter, and whose protection you take in your hands, he naturally gets rid of all the troubles and obstacles. A normal man often gets stuck in the mire of sin by falling into bad company etc., but sin never surrounds the friend of Brahmanaspati Prabhu, nor does he get 'Durit' i.e. bad result from anywhere, whereas the common people are afflicted and tormented by many types of bad results. Neither do internal and external enemies defeat him, nor do feelings of indifference or selfishness overwhelm him.  Neither can those people who are 'Dwaaavi' i.e. those who have dual behaviour, who have one thing in their mind and another thing in their actions, who outwardly show themselves to be well wishers but are full of venom inside. The one who has not received the blessings of Lord Brahmanaspati, gets caught in the clutches of such dual people and ruins himself. But the one who has Lord Brahmanaspati with him cannot be deceived by such people. 

O Brahmanaspati Jagadishwar! The one whom you take under your protection defeats all the violent people. These violent people are the violent tendencies residing inside man, mental disorders like lust, anger, greed, attachment etc. and the people who create violence. None of these violent people can attack or harm the friend of Brahmanaspati, rather he keeps on progressing by obstructing, defeating and destroying all of them. O Lord Brahmanaspati!  You take us under your protection and save us from troubles and lead us on the path of progress and take us to the peak of progress.
