All this knowledge was taught in the Gurukul, but with the passage of time, if the Gurukul disappeared, then this knowledge also disappeared. Today, the future of the youth of our country is being destroyed by the Macaulay method, then there is a need to revive the Gurukul at such a time.
How did Gurukuls come to an end in India? Convent schools ruined. The Indian Education Act was enacted in 1858. It was drafted by Lord Macaulay. But before that he had conducted a survey of the education system here (India), even before that many British had given their report about the education system of India. An officer of the British was G.W. Luther and the other was Thomas Munro! Both had surveyed different areas at different times. Luther, who did the survey of North India, wrote that it has 97% literacy and Munro, who did the survey of South India, wrote that it has 100% literacy.
Macaulay clearly said that if India is to be enslaved forever, then its "native and cultural education system" will have to be completely demolished and replaced by "English education system" Indian but British will be born out of mind and when they leave the university of this country, they will work in our interest.
Macaulay is using a proverb – “Just as a field is fully plowed before a crop is planted, it must be plowed and an English education system must be introduced.” That's why he first declared the Gurukuls illegal. When the Gurukul became illegal, the aid they received from the society became illegal. Then Sanskrit was declared illegal and the Gurukuls of this country were roaming around and destroyed. He set fire to them, beat up the teachers who taught in it, put them in jail.
Till 1850 there used to be '7 lakh 32 thousand' Gurukuls in this country and at that time there were villages in this country '7 lakh 50 thousand'. Meaning, on an average, there was one Gurukul in every village and all these Gurukuls used to be 'Higher Learning Institute' in today's language. 18 subjects were taught in all of them and the people of this Gurukul society were run together and not the king, the maharaja.
Education was given free of cost in Gurukuls. In this way all the Gurukuls were abolished and then English education was declared legal and the first convent school was opened in Calcutta. At that time it was called 'Free School'. Under this law Calcutta University was formed in India, Bombay University was formed, Madras University was formed, these three universities of slavery era are still in the country.
Macaulay wrote a letter to his father, a very famous letter, in which he writes that: "These convent schools will produce children who will be Indian in appearance but English in mind and they do not know anything about their country Will happen . They will not know anything about their culture, they will not know anything about their traditions, they will not know their idioms, when there are such children in this country, even if the British leave this country, Englishness will not go away from this country. The truth of the letter written at that time is clearly visible in this country now and see the glory of that act that we are ashamed to speak our language. speak English that Others will be overwhelmed. We have become inferior in ourselves, who are ashamed to speak our language, what will be the burden on others.
People argue that English is the international language. There are 204 countries in the world and English language is spoken, read and understood in only 11 countries, then how is it an international language English is not rich but poor language even in terms of words. The Bible of these Englishmen was also not in English and Isha Christ did not speak English. The language of Jesus Christ and the language of the Bible was Aramaic. The script of Aramaic language was similar to that of our Bengali language. In the course of time, that language became extinct.
The language of the United Nations which is in America is not English, all the work there is done in French. The society which is cut off from its mother tongue never prospers and this was Macaulay's strategy. In which he has almost won because today's youth is less known to India than to Europe. Considers Indian culture as a hoax but imitates western countries. Despite not knowing the prominence and specialty of religion, supports the Left.
A stinging question from all the brothers, all of us should know about religion. Because it is religion that teaches us the national religion, religion itself teaches us socialism, religion itself inspires us to lay down our lives for our parents, teachers and the nation. Tradition is a spiritual science, the science that we all know today is very rich science is spirituality...
